Storybook Sessions might be my most favorite type of session I offer now. Each one is different, tailored to fit your child or children. We tell a story, they get to play and pretend and be the magical little kiddos they are, and we make precious, whimsical portraits of your children that we can then turn into beautiful artwork for your home or a picture-book style keepsake album.
For Aurelia and Liliana, we set up a little teddy bear picnic in the woods with a cute tea set, some felt foods and stuffies to snuggle, and just let them be themselves. It doesn’t get much better than this. <3
I’ve seen Arden’s mom and dad through their engagement and wedding photos, and Arden through all her first year milestones, and it’s been an absolute joy watching her smile just get more sparkly every time I see her.
Happy first birthday, beautiful baby Lillian! You are radiant in rainbow.
I’m so thankful for my Learning to Fly clients, whom I get to see grow up over the course of their first year. It’s absolutely incredible how much they grow and change over the course of just a few months! At 3 months, they’re cooing and giggling, at six they’re sometimes already sitting up, at 9 months they are usually newly mobile and I get to see what crawling style they’ve adapted, like the army crawl, or my favorite “the zombie crawl”. And then comes that one year mark, and we get to find out exactly how they feel about cake and frosting and getting themselves and everyone around them messy, or if they’re more of a bubble bath kind of baby. My job will never get old!
I love when parents get in on their baby’s newborn session, and Kasen’s mama Jennifer is just gorgeous! Brandon, Kasen’s dad, wasn’t able to get away from work to attend, but we included a special football in reference to his papa’s football coaching career.
